Class Trips to the Farm

If you are looking to provide your students with a unique farm experience, you have come to the right place! Hawthorne Valley Farm offers various kinds of class trips. In all cases, students witness firsthand the natural rhythms of the farm and participate in farm-based activities.

The Visiting Students Program brings school classes into a unique weeklong farm experience. During the week, students, teachers, and farm educators live, work, and learn together.

Classroom Connection offers school groups one- and two-day tailored farm experiences. Field trips typically include a farm tour and a chosen agriculturally-based educational experience. Students participate in real farm work catered to their age group. Click here for more information.
