Local Farms, Food Purveyors & Artisans
At the Farm Store, supporting local farms and food processors is an integral part of our mission. We consider agriculture to be a foundational component of our rural economy and culture. In addition, foods that are grown or made locally almost always taste better!
From Hawthorne Valley Farm
Produce
Farm Store produce from the farm is grown in the Corner Garden, right across the street from the Farm Store! Look for the red tags in the produce cooler that denote foods grown right on the farm.
Meats
Hawthorne Valley Farm raises some steers specifically for meat. We carry all cuts though supply varies throughout the year. All Hawthorne Valley Farm meat is Organic.
Baked Goods
The delicious, organic breads, rolls, cookies, muffins, pastries, granola, and other treats made in the Hawthorne Valley Farm Bakery are all made on-site and are available in the Farm Store. All of the flours, grains, nuts, seeds, and fruits used in our baked goods are organically or biodynamically-grown. For added freshness, we grind and sift the wheat on-site in the Bakery.
