13-Day Session for Ages 10 to 12  July 30 – August 11 ($2,400) ***spaces available ***

This program adds a few more exciting activities well-suited to the 10 through 12 year old camper. Children feed the animals, clean the barn, collect eggs, garden, ride horses, chop fire wood, use a map and compass to navigate through our woods, and swim in our pond.  Traditional camp activities include: arts and crafts, games, and singing. Campers learn focus and concentration as they shoot arrows at our new archery range. For this age group we add off-campus hikes to state parks and local ponds that are long and a little challenging. At the top of the mountains or edge of the streams, the campers embrace the views or the sparkle of the waterfalls and realize it was well worth the trip while they rest and eat their lunches. The campers show us their skills during Olympic/Carnival Day and Talent Night. Their creative side is found as they carve wooden boats to sail during our famous Creek Boat Race. Our delicious, child-friendly organic vegetarian meals and snacks are the favorite part of the day for most of our campers. Cookouts and campfires round out these two weeks. A home-like atmosphere allows children to feel comfortable and secure.
